I want to say thank you to the Biggest Heart in Texas,
Michael Crawford. Several years ago a relative was falsely
accused of a terrible thing. When asked questions they would
just look at the floor too scared to answer. The lawyer we
had prior to Michael told us that when my relative would be
on the stand the prosecuting attorney would chew them up and
spit them out and we should accept a plea. We did and my
relative got 3 years probation. The lawyer also told me that
the money I paid would cover the fee to have the records
sealed when it was time, but he, unfortunately, passed away
soon after the trial. Then the person that accused my
relative came to me and revealed her statement was made in
anger, not from the truth. Way too late! I called several
lawyers and I couldn't possibly come up with their
retainers. I called Mr. Crawford. He stated he usually takes
a hefty fee to work on a case, but when I told him of the
situation he got very quiet. His silence was followed by a
simple question: Would you be okay if I did this case, Pro
Bono? For some of you that seem to think all lawyers are out
for money, I am here to state Michael Crawford is out for
the people. Thank you again, Michael Crawford, you are a
Godsend and God bless you!
